Hands-on Approach

For the 2018 JDRF Promise Gala, I led the visual direction and asset creation across print, digital, and environmental touchpoints. I designed and built custom hand-crafted nail and thread artwork that served as the core theme across the onsite event and the JDRF Indiana website. My role included managing a team of animators and photographers to produce event media and partnering with a local artist to execute an onsite art installation.

Thread of Hope to Life

Initially, the hand-crafted approach didn’t have a video/animation element to it. After collaborating with our animation team, we realized we had a great opportunity to bring our hand-made elements to life on the screen. The end result was a video that opened the night a tied all of our elements together in a beautiful story.
