Hello! I'm Brad,
I’m a creative director, designer, and leader with a deep passion for the creative process and human-centered design.
I’ve had a few different roles over my career, here’s the list.
Creative Director
Capgemini DCX (Digital Customer Experience), Nashville, TN
(March 2022 to Present)
At Capgemini, I collaborate with some of the world's most renowned brands. I lead and design a creative team dedicated to bringing online eCommerce experiences to life, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction. My primary focus is on establishing strong brand consistency and ensuring every interaction consumers have with these brands is exceptional.
Creative Director
Avant Healthcare (Now Real Chemistry), Indianapolis, IN
(January 2017 to February 2022)
As an Associate Creative Director at Avant Healthcare, I led and managed a team of designers and art directors. I collaborated closely with client services and medical teams to develop solutions for both promotional and continuing medical education. Additionally, I worked directly with Forefront Collaborative, our CME team, to create solutions for live CME activities, encompassing marketing, promotions, and engaging with physicians at various touchpoints.
Creative Director
Raidious, Indianapolis, IN
(October 2014 to December 2016)
I led the content team, which consisted of writers, designers, and social media managers. I provided creative strategy to the design team and collaborated with the account team to present new creative ideas and campaigns to clients, supporting our sales team in winning new business. I evaluated talent, managed external creative resources, and made recommendations to the leadership team regarding all creative aspects of our business.
Senior Art Director
Gannet Client Solutions, Indianapolis, IN
(December 2011 to October 2014)
As the Senior Art Director, I oversaw all creative work for our client solutions team across the Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Louisville markets. I collaborated with our design teams in each market to develop innovative solutions for our key accounts.
Creative Director
MB2 Advertising, Indianapolis, IN
(March 2011 to November 2011)
I managed a creative team of designers and developers, overseeing all our creative work. I led and pitched new projects, providing creative insights to our leadership team. Although this experience was brief, it offered significant personal and professional growth.
Adjunct Instructor
The Art Institute, Indianapolis, IN
(January 2008 to January 2014)
In late 2007, I was offered an opportunity at the new Art Institutes location in Indianapolis. They sought experienced designers capable of leading in the classroom. For the next seven years, I taught design layout and typography, creating lesson plans and managing classrooms typically consisting of around 15 students. This new challenge allowed me to experience teaching and inspire potential young designers.
Senior Art Director
Cabello Associates, Indianapolis, IN
(May 2006 to April 2011)
I spent five years at Cabello Associates as an Art Director, where I had the pleasure of working with great people. This period was instrumental in my growth and maturity as an art director and designer. I was given the freedom to be as creative as I wanted, and I truly appreciate the time I spent at Cabello.
Art Director
Galyan’s Sports & Outdoor, Plainfield, IN
(June 2003 to November 2004)
If you're from Indianapolis, you're likely familiar with the Galyan’s story. For those who aren't, Galyan’s was a nationwide sports and outdoor retailer with stores in most major markets. In early 2004, Galyan’s was acquired by Dick’s Sporting Goods. During my time at Galyan’s, I led a creative team to develop online, direct marketing, and in-store marketing campaigns.
Graphic Designer
Willow Marketing, Indianapolis, IN
(October 2000 to May 2003)
Willow was a fantastic place to work, and I truly enjoyed my time there. We had a small team, and I was one of two designers. We worked directly with clients daily, allowing us to be as creative as we wanted. During this period, I learned a great deal and grew significantly as both a designer and a leader.
Graphic Designer
Miller & White Advertising
Terre Haute, IN
(January 1998 to October 2000)
This was my first job out of college, and while I didn't earn much, I learned a great deal. I was immediately immersed in the advertising business, working directly with clients daily. With our small team, a lot was asked of me, providing constant opportunities to learn, which I eagerly embraced whenever possible.
